Volunteer Training Session

Volunteer Training ….. A massive thanks to Elizabeth Bartlett who facilitated our volunteer dementia training session at Cepen Lodge in Chippenham on the 10th October. Elizabeth is a gifted trainer, and we are so grateful to have been able to benefit from her knowledge and expertise.

Our current volunteers Nick, Chris, Vicky, Jackie, Emma were joined at the session today by two new volunteers Jen & Mel and Tracey who works at Cepen Lodge.

The training provided our volunteers with a better understanding of dementia and how it might affect the residents whom they visit.

A huge thank you too, to Jane and her wonderful team at Cepen Lodge, who so kindly hosted the day for us.

We also enjoyed the company of our youngest guest today Daisy (5 months old) - never too young to start volunteering!
