What a year #2020 has been for us all. Something has changed for everyone but so many new and creative support systems have come out of a very difficult situation.
For Care Home Volunteers, we had to completely rethink how our #volunteers were able to interact with the #carehomes when they had to close their doors. But with the support of the care homes, our trustees, our volunteer coordinators and our fantastic volunteers we were able to provide, virtual visits and card /letter writing. Both were very successful and provided even more residents with a connection to others including the younger generation who have taken the time to write stories, draw pictures and wish people well.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Care Home Volunteers during 2020 in the many different ways you have.
